When out of options, apply Pressure to reduce Shot Accuracy
If your opponent is about to score a goal and you don't have many options left, simply try to charge him by running with your player against him.
You won't win the ball back, but it may be just enough to reduce the opponent's shot accuracy, like in this clip. This action very rarely results in fouls.
A very composed/strong player will probably still score, but as a last resort, this is pretty much all you can do.
