Go around an opponent with a variation of the Xavi turn
Barcelona's legend Xavi used to perform a move which some may recall as "The Xavi turn". This is a variation, which applies similar principles to the shielding technique.
When you see an opponent charging in your direction, draw a square to use his momentum against him. You will usually find some good passing lanes after getting past your opponent, especially in the midfield or in the wings.
